GOSR2

The Golgi apparatus is a cellular organelle important for the maturation of vesicles. In particular, the trans-Golgi apparatus is important for sending the cellular vesicles to their right destinations. GOSR2 is one of the proteins involved in vesicle trafficking. Mutations in this gene lead to North Sea progressive myoclonus epilepsy.
